अंबेडकर जयंती विशेष: देश आज संविधान निर्माता डॉ बाबा साहेब भीमराव अंबेडकर की जयंती मना रहा है. आज ही के दिन डॉ अंबेडकर का जन्म 1891 में हुआ था. समाज के शोषित और वंचित तबके के लोगों को आवाज देने वाले डॉ अंबेडकर ने अपना पूरा जीवन उनके उत्थान में लगा दिया और जीवन भर उनके हक की लड़ाई लड़ते रहे. वहीं कोरोना वायरस के चलते सरकार ने लोगों से अपील की है कि इस बार घर में रहकर की अंबेडकर जयंती मनाएं.

बाबा साहेब की जयंति पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी है. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी नेट्वीट किया, “बाबासाहेब डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर को उनकी जयंती पर सभी देशवासियों की ओर से विनम्र श्रद्धांजलि। #AmbedkarJayanti.” बता दें कि लॉकडाउन के दौरान सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रमों पर रोक लगी हुई है. इसलिए केंद्र सरकार के सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्री थावरचंद गहलोत ने भारत रत्न बाबा साहब अंबेडकर की जयंती भी घरों के भीतर रहकर मनाने की अपील की है.

डॉक्टर भीमराव अंबेडकर का जीवन परिचय

बाबा साहेब महार जाति से आते थे जो कि उस समय अछूत माना जाता था. अंबेडकर को बचपन में ही समाज के विभेदकारी बर्ताव का सामना करना पड़ा था. उन्हें स्कूल में अलग बैठाया जाता था, ऊंची जाति के बच्चे उनसे ठीक से बात नहीं करते थे. अंबेडकर को ये बात काफी चुभती थी और उन्होंने उस अल्प आयु में ही समाज से इस विभेद को खत्म करने का प्रण ले लिया था.

अंबेडकर ने अपने जीवन में समाज से विभेद हटाने को अपना लक्ष्य बना लिया था और इसकी पूर्ति करने के लिए उन्होंने पढ़ाई को हथियार बनाया. बाबा साहेब बचपन से पढ़ाई में अव्वल आते थे और इसी का नतीजा था कि साल 1912 में बॉम्बे विश्वविद्यालय से राजनीति शास्त्र में ऑनर्स करने के बाद वो आगे की पढ़ाई करने के लिए अमेरिका चले गए. अंबेडकर की विदेश में पढ़ाई का खर्चा बड़ौदा के शासक ने उठाया था. यहां पढ़ाई करने के बाद बाबा साहेब ने साल 1921 में लंदन स्कूल ऑफ इकॉनोमिक्स से पढ़ाई पूरी की.

अंबेडकर ने पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद तमाम छात्रों की तरह नौकरी शुरू की, लेकिन बचपन में सामाजिक विभेद मिटाने की ली गई प्रतिज्ञा बार-बार उनके सीने में टीस मारती. इसी सबके बीच एक दिन उन्होंने सबकुछ छोड़ दिया और सामाजिक आंदोलन में कूद पड़े. उन्होंने 1936 में लेबर पार्टी का गठन किया. इससे पहले भी वह विभिन्न सामाजिक आंदोलनों का नेतृत्व करते आ रहे थे.

बाद में जब यह तय हो गया कि देश 15 अगस्त, 1947 को आजाद होगा तो संविधान बनाने की अहम जिम्मेदारी उन्हें उनकी बुद्धिमत्ता के कारण मिली. उन्होंने उस समय भारत के लिए ऐसा संविधान बनाया जो समाज के हर वर्ग को बराबर सम्मान और आवाज देता है. देश के आजाद होने के बाद वह भारत के पहले कानून मंत्री बने. अंबेडकर के जीवन में एक बड़ी घटना साल 1956 में घटी तब उन्होंने हजारों लोगों के साथ बौद्ध धर्म को अपना लिया था. अंबेडकर की मृत्यु उसी साल हो गई और उन्हें मरणोपरांत साल 1990 में देश के सर्वोच्च सम्मान भारत रत्न से उन्हें नवाजा गया.
