नई दिल्ली I अमेरिका में बुधवार को आधिकारिक रूप से सत्ता रिपब्लिकन के हाथ से निकलकर डेमोक्रेट्स के पास चली गई, राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन ने अमेरिका के 46वें राष्ट्रपति के तौर पर और कमला हैरिस ने उप राष्ट्रपति पद की शपथ ग्रहण कर ली है। इस खास मौके पर भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने उन्हे बधाई दी है इस बावत पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट किया है।
जो बाइडन को अमेरिका के मुख्य न्यायाधीश जॉन रॉबर्ट्स ने कैपिटल के वेस्ट फ्रंट में बाइडन को पद की शपथ दिलाई। बाइडन ने अपने परिवार की 127 वर्ष पुरानी बाइबिल के साथ शपथ ली। इस दौरान उनकी पत्नी जिल बाइडन अपने हाथों में बाइबिल लिए खड़ी रहीं, अमेरिका के इतिहास में बाइडन सबसे अधिक उम्र के राष्ट्रपति बने हैं।
पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट कर लिखा- संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में उनके पदभार ग्रहण करने पर जो बाइडन को मेरी हार्दिक बधाई..
