पंजाब में निजी क्लिनिक के लिए कानून तो बना, लेकिन नियम तय न होने से प्रभावी नहीं

जालंधर। पंजाब में निजी क्लिनिक के लिए कानून को बना दिया गया, लेकिन यह लागू नहीं हुआ। दरअसल इसके नियम तय नहीं किए जाने से यह प्रभावी नहीं हो सका। पंजाब सरकार ने 28 अगस्त, 2020 को विधानसभा में पंजाब क्लिनिकल इस्टेबलिशमेंट (रजिस्ट्रेशन और रेगुलेशन) बिल-2020 पास किया था। बिल को पास हुए करीब साढ़े पांच माह का समय बीत चुका है, लेकिन इसे लेकर नियम अधिसूचित नहीं किए जा सके। अब राज्‍य सरकार दो से तीन सप्‍ताह में इसे लागू करने की बात कह रही है।

पंजाब के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री बलबीर सिंह सिद्धू का कहना है कि कोरोना के कारण पूरा फोकस कोरोना महामारी से लड़ने पर रहा। क्लिनिकल इस्टेबलिशमेंट एक्ट के तहत नियम लगभग बनाए जा चुके हैं। संभवत: एक-दो सप्ताह में इसकी अधिसूचना जारी कर दी जाएगी। पंजाब में निजी क्लिनिकल संस्थाओं को रजिस्टर करने या इनको नियमित करने के लिए कोई कानून नहीं था।
