मुंबई. भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच जम्मू-कश्मीर में नियंत्रण रेखा पर युद्धविराम को लेकर सहमति बन गई है. दोनों देशों के बीच युद्धविराम के इस समझौते की अमेरिका ने तारीफ की है. व्हाइट हाउस के प्रवक्ता ने इसे शांति की तरफ बढ़ाया तारीफ के लायक कदम बताया है. वहीं संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव के प्रवक्ता स्टीफन दुजारिक ने कहा है कि यह सकारात्मक कदम दोनों देशों के बीच आगे संवाद के लिए एक अवसर प्रदान करेगा.
व्हाइट हाउस के प्रवक्ता जेन साकी ने कहा, ‘भारत-पाकिस्तान एलओसी पर सीजफायर के कड़े नियमों का पालन करने पर सहमत हुए हैं. यह दक्षिण एशिया में शांति और स्थिरता की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक कदम है, जो हमारे साझा हित में है. हम दोनों देशों को आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हैं.’
LoC पर सैनिकों की तैनाती में कमी नहीं होगी
एलओसी पर जवानों की तैनाती में कमी का कोई प्रस्ताव नहीं है, क्योंकि पाकिस्तान ने आतंकवाद को नहीं रोका है. भारतीय सेना ने उम्मीद जताई है कि पाकिस्तान सीमा पार आतंकवाद को समर्थन देना बंद कर देगा. भारतीय सेना ने कहा, “हमारा प्रयास शांति और स्थिरता हासिल करना है, जो क्षेत्र के लिए फायदेमंद है और विशेष रूप से एलओसी के किनारे रहने वाली आबादी के लिए, यह हिंसा के स्तर को नीचे लाने का एक प्रयास है.”

2020 में 5133 बार सीजफायर का उल्लंघन हुआ
2021 में 25 फरवरी तक 591 बार उल्लंघन हुआ
साल 2003 में भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच एलओसी पर युद्धविराम को लेकर समझौता हुआ था. लेकिन पिछले कई सालों से इस पर अमल नहीं किया जा रहा था. अब दोनों देश इस पर अमल करने के लिए तैयार हो गए हैं.
